This is a sedimentary stone created by shifts in the earths crust and extreme heat. Gravitational pull over thousands of years have compacted the sediment to form a solid stone. This stone has a complexion of open pores and therefore can be found with surface pits or holes that are either pre-filled at source or filled on site.
